xertioN Renews Contract with MOUZ
xertioN’s journey with MOUZ traces back to 2021 when he initially joined the organization’s academy project, MOUZ NXT, at the tender age of 16. His skills and dedication quickly caught the attention of both fans and the team management. Just a year after his induction into MOUZ NXT, he received a promotion to MOUZ in 2022. Now, after being a part of MOUZ for 2 ½ years both parties agreed to renew his contract long-term.
“There are a lot of very good reasons, why I decided to re-sign with MOUZ. I think the biggest one is definitely the team. I feel very comfortable with my teammates, with my captain siuhy and with the system in MOUZ in general. I just really enjoy being around everyone that we have in MOUZ. The organization is treating me well the last 2 ½ years and it’s all been going very well. I am happy to be here.”, xertioN says.
Throughout his tenure with MOUZ, xertioN has proven himself as a great force: “His impact on the team inside and outside of the game is undeniable.”, states Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo. “He is the teammate I know the longest and I am the closest with, I would say. He is really smart and vocal in game, that’s important for us. He also has more experience than I have and is teaching me a lot.”
The decision to extend xertioN’s contract underscores MOUZ’s confidence in his abilities and the integral role he plays within the team.
“xertioN is a kind of second leader in the team. He has a very important role in the game, with space creation roles, he needs to talk a lot and has a lot of responsibilities.”, states Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin.
With the dominant qualification for the first CS2 Major earlier this month, the MOUZ roster has the chance to fulfil one of xertioN biggest goals, by winning a Major for MOUZ. He also mentioned that he will work hard this year to be part of the top 20 players 2024.
