Thank you, frozen

In March 2019, frozen, a young prodigy, stepped into the world of tier 1 Counter-Strike, joining the ranks of MOUZ at the tender age of 16. In the following years he evolved into a seasoned player now recognized as the young veteran. With MOUZ, frozen won 6 trophies, received an MVP title and played a total of 809 maps. Thank you, David, for all the hard work you have put into MOUZ over the last four years.

At the age of 16, frozen entered the international scene with eagerness and passion, joining MOUZ. In his inaugural year as part of the new MOUZ line-up, he made an immediate impact by securing victories at the CS:GO Asia Championships, the ESL Pro League Season 10, and the cs_summit 5, showcasing their prowess.

“The best moment during my time at MOUZ was definitely winning an EPL trophy in 2019, beating number one Astralis at that time in an insane comeback from like 14-8 on dust2, really felt like I’m on the top of the world at that moment“, states frozen.

In early 2020, frozen continued to impress, when the team secured another triumph at the ICE Challenge 2020. After that, MOUZ underwent significant transformations, with only frozen remaining from the 2019 roster. He, undeterred by the flux, adapted to new situations and continued to grind, which earned him and MOUZ the victory at Flashpoint 3 in 2021 and securing himself the tournament MVP title.

At the IEM Rio Major 2022, MOUZ secured an impressive 3rd/4th place finish. After a rough start in 2023, frozen’s journey reached another pinnacle when MOUZ won the ESL Pro League Season 18.

Always kept grinding

One of the defining characteristics of frozen’s evolution has been his unwavering dedication to the game. His commitment to improvement is outstanding – always the first in the practice room and never ceasing to grind. This relentless work ethic has not only contributed to his personal growth but has also set a standard in the team.

Over the course of four years, frozen has grown up within the organization. The camaraderie within the team and shared victories and defeats have shaped him into the player he is today.

“I would say that one of the key pieces about my development at MOUZ were the people around me over the four years, who always pushed me and challenged me to be the best version of myself, which is something I feel blessed for. My development is still an ongoing process.”, says frozen.

Departure

It’s saddening to see frozen depart at such a high point, just after the resounding victory at ESL Pro League Season 18 and the second place at CS Asia Championships 2023. His contributions have been crucial in shaping the current MOUZ roster into the great force it is today.

Despite the tinge of sadness, MOUZ extends heartfelt wishes to frozen on his new journey. May he find success and fulfillment in all his future endeavors.

Future of MOUZ

As one chapter closes, another one begins, and MOUZ proved multiple times, that change can be good. The next evolution of MOUZ will continue to push the boundaries of skill, strategy, and sportsmanship.

Farewell, David
"David has been an important part of MOUZ for the last four years. I am thankful for the time we spent together and confident he will be successful in his new project. Everyone at MOUZ wishes him nothing but the best in his personal life and in his competitive career. While in the past after the departure of one of our core players we were looking at major rebuilds, this time our team is in a very strong position. We will fill the open spot on the roster for 2024 and are looking to continue on the very successful path this young group took."
