oskar joins mousesports
Mousesports welcomes Tomáš „oskar“ Šťastný to its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive division. The Czech Star joins mouz on a transfer from HellRaisers and will replace Johannes „nex“ Maget in the starting five.
The 25-year old Šťastný played for HellRaisers the past year and gained a reputation as one of the best AWP players in the world. He will now zoom in his feared sniper rifle for mouz. "I want to thank mousesports for putting their trust in me. I hope I can help the team to reach its goals, which are now my goals as well", says Šťastný.
The German based team wants to improve further after recent success at ELEAGUE in Atlanta. "Even with the latest improvement, we felt that we needed to give a new impulse to the team. I am really excited to see oskar in a mousesports jersey and I am sure, so are our fans. I feel like oskar is the right fit for us, as he is not only a great player but also clicks with the team on a personal level", says mousesports CEO Cengiz Tüylü.
While mousesports is excited to welcome oskar, they also feel with long time member nex. The German native will be moved into the substitute role. "I really appreciate what Johannes has done for our team in recent years. We value him as a person and it was truly a tough decision to replace him. We will continue to support Joe and will help him to get back on the field as quickly as possible", says Tüylü.
The new lineup consisting of Denis "denis" Howell, Chris "chrisJ" de Jong, Timo "Spiidi" Richter, Nikola "NiKo" Kovač and Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný will have its first real test on Tuesday, when mousesports meets the new fnatic lineup at 7pm CEST in the season opener of ESL Pro League Season 4.
